Mixed Media Fresco Style.....

I am taking several workshops on the new group The Trodden Path and the latest is a workshop learning to do a Fresco style mixed media art on fabric. This involves linen, plaster like joint compound, an image transfer, lots of layers of paint and a final coating of wax. This is my first piece and I consider it a practice piece for experimenting with the techniques taught in the workshop. I darkened the photo so you could see the detail, in person it has a more faded/aged look. So fun to try something new and a little challenging!
