Paint Party Friday

Happy Friday everyone and Happy PPF!  I made this page for the Monthly French Inspired challenge on the Marie Antoinette Mailart Group. This is a 4x6 collage on matboard, clear crackle finish, enhanced with acrylics paints and inks. The images are from two kits by ItKuPilli Imagenarium.

I have been having an issue with my creative mojo lately but hopefully I'll be back to do some paintings in the next week or so.

Hope you have a great weekend! xo

India Vintage Style ATC

Cut and paste atc made using images from the new India kit by ItKuPilli Imagenarium. I used three images layered in the background, plus the main image. Glued a gold German Scrap border to the edges and then glazed with crackle medium. I am obsessed with making things look vintage so decided to then add layers of rub n buff, inks and acrylic paints to the border to make it look like old aged metal. I added a flower embellishment to her hair and did a light coating of acrylic paint as a finish. I wanted  the atc to look like something you would find in a dusty old trunk at the flea market. Don't know if I accomplished that but I had alot of fun working with the images and playing with the technique!

My February 4x6 vintage gluebook page for French themed challenge on the Marie Antoinette mailart group, made using images from new kit by ItKuPilli Imagenarium, ArsLonga, on DeviantScrap. The background, scroll, bird and woman images are from the kit. The floral border and quote are from a scrapbook kit by K&Company. Introducing a New Designer on DeviantScrap....ItKuPiLLi Imagenarium!

I am very happy and excited to announce that DeviantScrap has a new designer...ItKuPiLLi!  Many of you know her from her collage sheets and blog backgrounds thru her Blog.  I am excited to be a member of her creative design team on DeviantScrap and look forward to showing you her fabulous designs!

I made these two vintage inspired tags using images from her new kits 'Feminin', 'Masculin', and her Dusty and Rusty background kits....so fun, love these images! She also has a Freebie mini kit for her grand opening! I used a 4x6 manila tag, cut and paste images from the kit onto the tag using a gluestick, added acrylic paints, inks and then a coating of crackle medium, finished off with a coat of varnish. Add ribbon and you're done!
