June Already??

I can't believe it's June already...where did Spring go? We got the pastures seeded and reflective film done on the windows this past weekend. Next we need to work on getting a shelter setup for the horses. Busy, busy, busy.....

This week I'm working on getting my Angel Kittens ATC's done, also need to get the Art Nouveau and Rubberstamping ATC's finished too. It's going to be a busy week there too!

Sun's out, humidity is low, light breeze...perfect weather! Would love to live someplace with weather like this most of the year. Got to ride both Micah and Scout on Monday. Micah was a pisser and Scout was excellent. Looking forward to riding Scout regularly this year. He's a really good horse and I'm happy to have him. Am thinking of selling the Haflingers. They're fun but I don't use them and they're just standing around getting fat and spoiled. Will have to decide on that soon....

Am almost finished the crochet beach bag in the handpainted linen I got at the Md Sheep & Wool Festival! I like the way it's coming along. I'm also almost done with the Fairytale ATC's I'm currently working on. Got my first swap ATC's in the mail yesterday and it's very cool to get other people's artwork!

Hoping for a calmer day...

Yesterday was nuts! The horses were full of themselves and I made the mistake of trying to move them into different pastures by myself. Good Grief! At least Scout was good and did what I asked. Jake and Micah were complete nutjobs...typical Haflingers taking advantage of a situation. Becky was happy to be back in her pasture. So all is well.

I got my swap partner for the Spring Summer Swap and she lives in England...very cool! I'm looking forward to this swap and the pattern I picked will be perfect.

I'll be finishing up my Kit&Kaboodle Swap box this week and I have two ATC swaps to mail out by the end of the week.

I had the worst dream this morning and it seemed very real.....it was about a serial killer with purple hair and I was one of the intended victims. Very creepy!

Another gorgeous day outside! Alex has his AP English test this morning...hope he does well. He had a great day yesterday. Hope his luck continues! I'm going to work on ATC's and crochet today. Do some gardening, check the horses....and stop watching the news! It's so depressing. Why do they only show the bad stuff when so many good things are happening in the world?
