Happy Mothers Day to everyone in the US and Happy PPF! This week I switched to something a little different, one of the Art Eye Candy workshops by Rachel Panagarry. This face is from her template, then the details are painted on mulberry paper/bristol paper using watercolors, pencils, acrylics and pens, then collaged onto a mixed media background on canvas. No beeswax on this piece, the mulberry paper for the face gives a soft look. I also coated the entire piece with spray fixative when I was done. Lovely Kim! Mulberry paper is a fabulous product, I use it a lot. Love that like me you use lots of different mediums and mix it up! Mothers day must be on a different day with you. In the UK it was in March...unless I have made a dreadfull mistake and missed the right date! :)
