Happy Weekend and Happy PPF! I am taking Juliette Crane's How to Paint an Owl 2 workshop and this is my painting from lesson one. It's called 'Dream Owl' and I find it very challenging to make the sheer layers of color but found this workshop has really helped me loosen up.
I wasn't able to quite capture the loose dreamy layered style that Juliette has perfected but I'm getting there!
This painting is the very first owl I made in Juliette's first How to Paint an Owl workshop a couple of years ago. My style has definitely become much more complex and layered. I just love owls and I seem to be seeing them everywhere lately!

I"m simply head over heels in love with this cutie pie of an owl!I've painted owls( my favourite) before but never in this style. I would luv to try painting one in more of a whimsical style such as yours. Thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful owl! I took Juliette's How to paint an owl 1 a year or two ago, and I really liked the class. I learned a lot there.

I love your owls. I use to watch MOLLY 24/7 for about 1 1/2 years until Carlos and Donna decided to travel. The little owlets are adorable and to watch them grow up is amazing. Your painting is wonderful. Blessings, Janet PPF
