Welcome to my second Paint Party Friday post! This week I am continuing my obsession with big eyed girls and am learning to paint with Copic markers. I love the Copics and have learned that choosing the right colors is the key to blending. This angel doll is my submission for the December Art Challenge on DollDreams.....thanks so much to Ady for the template!
I tried making her into a card and framed her with wayyyy too much glitter....but Kim, is there such a thing as too much glitter? My answer is most definitely YES if it doesn't remain on the card and migrates to the rest of the house!
Second, is the Copic painting I did for the Christmas Fairy workshop on DollDreams.
An art journal page done with Golden acrylics, Prismacolor pencils and Faber Castell markers....
And last are two Sketchcard ATCs I sketched and painted with Copics and Prismacolor markers, and a little acrylic paint. I still have alot to learn about painting with alcohol markers but I am having alot of fun with this technique!
Happy PaintPartyFriday and thanks for visiting!

She's being generous and sharing her glitter with your house! She's an angel, and a cute one too, so she just wants to sparkle and share that sparkle! Happy PPF!
WOW! these are fabulous! you've always had a beautiful way with colors and composition which is coming thru on your painting. the faces are the show stopper here i think. too much glitter-no-i live in a house where most everything, in every room has some shine.

So cute, sweet and beautiful never to much glitter and to many sparkles.
They are all so beautiful! I love the fairy.
Lovely! I had to laugh about the glitter. I was going to say, no, that there is no such thing as too much glitter, but now that you mention the falling on the floor part, I think you might be right.
The fairy's my favorite, love that hair!
Happy PPF!
These are adorable. HPPF Going to go check out Juliet Mills on your side bar. I always loved her.
These are fabulous, I never got on well with copic markers, my favourites are sharpies and pitt markers. Happy PPF.
Ps. I love the background wallpaper of your blog- ooooh.
I love the blue one a lot Kim, "Falling Away"...
Gorgeous girls. Love the eyelashes.
Love your big eyed girls. Lots of sparkle here. Thanks. Great job.
Wow! These girls are just freaking delicious! :) Love them! And yes! I hate it when glitter gets everywhere. :))
I am in love with all your gals. Too much to pick just one. Yep, glitter tends to go everywhere and people always know what I am doing from glitter, threads all over my clothes. We are walking adverts for what we do. Thank you for telling me what you use. I've used the markers too, albeit not copic. I like the prismacolor pencils for the art cards (for the control). Blessings, Janet PPF (also follower)
Wow Kim, I see I am not alone in thinking these are fabulous!!!! Love them all and as always, am blown away by your talent. xoxo
wow what huge eyes! Love the colors you have used. Keep it up!
What fabulous girls! I love their big eyes and long lashes
Your girls look fabulous. Love how you did the hair on the third one.
Your girls are just beautiful. I love to color with Copics. I've learned to purchase lighter colors in a color family - they really deepen with repeated application. I think you did a wonderful job.
I love how you are focusing on making their eyes big. They look great! And glitter is awesome!
