I love the summer because I love my summer job. I work for a day camp and this year I'm the arts and crafts director! I'm really looking forward to it.

What I HATE about summer is having to work with the grouchy public! The bright sun and the heat are also migraine triggers for me... : ( I have no choice but to smile and be pleasant, but by the end of the day, I'm totally beat... Waa... ; )

I love summer here in Brazil because it is when we have longer vacations. I love to spend summer days by the beach, although not necessarily ON the beach. The breeze makes me happy!

So much to Love about Summer, the warm nights, sitting out in the evening and watching lightening in the sky but not a drop of rain.
Walking barefoot in the green grass. or on the beach.

grew up 20 minutes away from santa monica beach..a true valley girl and beach girl!! we loved going way out in the ocean close to the surfers and yelling "outside"!! meaning here comes a wave!!!! ahhh those were the days! hot dogs with mustard, bikinis, and khj on the radio!
summer means wonderful memories of the beach.... my soul is in the sea! now in idaho.....sigh..far from the ocean~
