Believe....

I made this little book after playing around with some techniques in the book "Plaster Studio" by Stephanie Lee and Judy Wise. I started out experimenting with making the pages with plaster gauze and cheesecloth...from there I tried binding it and then I made this cool closure by making a fabric wrap with a button accent. All in all, it was alot of fun to play and make something very different from what I'm used to! xo

Kim....this is me, Sam....do you remember me? I just started back blogging again. I am SO SORRY I did not get back to you after you sent those beautiful books! That WAS you wasn't it? Anyway, I had one of those "BIG" life experiences that set you back a bit...yeah...like a year! I do apologize and I will UTILIZE your books and/or send them back to you if you wish...they were SO gorgeous I still can't beleive you would send them to me....maybe you've reconsidered and would like them back? Anyway...I am "healed" for now and back in the saddle and I am NEVER going to stop blogging as I couldn't believe how much I missed it and people like you!
Love your art and plan on spending some time going back over your past posts! So glad you're still here!
