Christmas Mouse in da house!

Ok, so I'm standing at the kitchen sink last night washing dishes and I suddenly see a MOUSE come out from behind my coffee maker, go racing past the sink and pop down into one of the burners of the stove. I let out a bloodcurdling scream that was truly worthy of an Oscar or Emmy. I'm waiting for my call from a Hollywood producer because it was so loud I'm sure they heard it in California...So my son, who will be 21 yrs old next week is in his room and I'm thinking why isn't he asking me if I'm ok...and then I hear him yell, 'are you ok?'....I ask, what took you so long to ask? His reply?...I was watching one of my tv shows and I didn't want to miss anything so I had to pause it.....????!!!!.....OMG....

I need one of these....

Or maybe this little kitty.....

To catch this! Awwww.......so cute.....NOT!! lol

Too funny--love that photo at the start of your blog. A long time ago, when I was first married and very poor, we lived in a very old farm house. One day I opened up one of the kitchen cupboards and there was a mouse sitting there very calmly eating a cracker!! I'm sure you could have heard me scream all the way to the next town!!

I'm the weird one here.....I wouldn't want a "wild" mouse or rat running around my house....but I'm not scared of them because I've had both pet mice and rats! They really are sweet. But I would definitely jump and scream if something...no matter what it was.....went running across my kitchen!

Those cats are adorable! All of them, and the last pick is totally *awwwwwh!*. How sweet!

Hopefully, if you ever are in real danger, your son will put the remote down immediately and come! Lol!
I have a 19 years old son....I can just imagine....

Hugs,
Terri

Well, your sense of humor is undeterred. Yikes, I hate when that happens. We have a big old pasture field in back of us, so we get the occasional critter, so far tho, not one that bold that is furry. We did have a snake sitting on the handle of our wall oven, with me and dd not two feet away before we noticed. The sounds we made were a lot like yours, lol. xoxo

Ohhh my goodness I know what you mean! I had a mouse around my house... just one. -.- you know why? Because we found it trapped in a glue paper outside and felt bad for it so my daughter brought it home and it escaped.. and lived in my house for a YEAR before we caught it... with a glue trap -.- LOL It ran over my TWO dogs and they didnt even stir! And Ive got horrendous cat allergies so yeah... Good luck, your sons response was funny though! :)

By the way. I got your most WONDERFUL package yesterday and a humongous THANK YOU!!!! I totally made a post right away! :) Stupendous my dear! THANK YOU again!!!!

Hugs,
