Granny's Attic Matchbox Swap....so lovely!

JoAnne of VintageDragonfly hosted another great matchbox swap for August! Granny's Attic was the theme and we were to alter a large size matchbox and include vintage items that you might find in your grandmother's attic. Above are the pics of the matchbox I made for Jennifer, her favorite colors were pink and sage green. I forgot to take pics of the vintage items I sent but there were cabinet cards, ribbons, buttons, lace, etc.

And here are pics of the lovely matchbox I received from Melissa of PineyRose, please visit her blog when you get the chance! She altered this matchbox in beautiful vintage shades of blue.....

Inside were all these beautiful items.....I am beyond thrilled with all the little vintage gifts!

But it doesn't end there! She also sent a vintage tin filled with beautiful lace, doilies, ribbon, a teacup, a vintage spoon (swoon), baby shoes (double swoon)...oh, the list goes on and it was just like Christmas! What a wonderful surprise!!

Thanks so much to Melissa for being a fun swap partner, your generosity was so appreciated and having a piece of art from you is an absolute delight! And thanks so much to JoAnne for organizing these fabulous swaps! xoxo

They are both absolutely gorgeous Kim!!!!!! Melissa is a wonderful swap partner too. We were partnered in a tussie mussie swap and she created a beauty for me. Her matchbox and that extra tin of goodies are all very special.
