Altered Canvas Workshop....Home of My Heart

One of my New Years Resolutions this year was to only sign up for workshops that I intended to actually make the project...and so far, I'm doing pretty well! I made this altered canvas in the altered canvas workshop on TheArtofAltering . Had a couple experiences of learning 'what not to do' with this one but also learned more about layers and color.

My other New Years Resolutions?  Getting some form of exercise everyday.....check. Eating less ice cream and shopping less online.....hmmmm......let's just call that a work in progress. ;]

I love the heart of the matter... love the details. How big are you working?

I just finally got brave and started one HUGE canvas and one 20x20 square... i think i like big, but space constraints make it a challenge...

Have a creative day!

This is very beautiful, I am so tempted to try that course myself - it looks wonderful. Thank you for sharing such a delicate and accomplished piece of artwork. Sometimes when I blog hop I occassionally feel like I really wish I could hold the project in my hands to get a really good look - this is one of those times.

What a stunning canvas...it looks like it could go on forever, that the winged animals are not stuck on the canvas.

Good for you with your resolutions.

Beautiful Piece, thanks for sharing it.
